When I competed as a gymnast for Ohio State, many of NCAA men’s teams used a tool for constructing routines and exporting precomp forms required for NCAA competitions. The tool was web-based, it wasn’t mobile, the whole team had to share an account to use it, it made it difficult to find skills, it wasn’t highly available (it was down on occasion), and it crashed regularly. I told my coach that I could make something better, and now I have.
It’s called Men’s Routiner. With this tool, coaches and athletes can construct and export routines and rosters for use in the gym and in competitions. Routiner isn’t only available on the web, but it’s also on iOS and Android. Coaches can create teams and athletes can join with a team code. After that, both parties can easily construct routines by selecting skills from the Code of Points.
Now NCAA teams are quickly ditching the old solution in favor of this new mobile platform. If you’re interested in checking it out, here are some links:
